ABOUT YOUR TEACHER:
I’m from Lynchburg but have resided in Prince Edward College since my graduation from Longwood College
where I earned a BS in Elementary Education with an additional endorsement in Middle School Education.
I taught for 3 years in Charlotte County, 1 yr in Cumberland, before “settling in” at Appomattox Middle School,
where I taught math and Pre-Algebra for 6th, 7th and 8th graders for an additional 28 years. I retired from Appomattox County
in 2008 after being offered a position at New Life. I feel so blessed to work for such a wonderful staff and administration and
such energetic and good-natured students.

NOTES TO PARENTS:
Due to difficulties with my homepage on the Scholastic website I am now posting homework assignments and upcoming assessments
on a website called School Notes. You can access my page directly by clicking HERE
I have created 3 pages so far: Homework; FYI- upcoming assessments; Bible verse and a set of flash cards for practicing the states and capitals. I have also included links to three websites, including the Scholastic website where you can link to Book Club Orders and place an order on line. I am also posting quizzes and tests on the calendar that accompanies this website.
